Pebble Steel in my opinion the best smart watch ever made, especially the first version with the black and white e-paper display. The first Pebble was a crowdfunding on kickstarter in 2012, the first pebbles started shipping in January of 2013. Unfortunately in 2017 Pebble filed for insolvency and Fitbit acquired most of their assets and employees. This was a sad day for Pebble and its users because Fitbit did not continue the Pebble line of watches. For the Pebble diehards, there is still the possibility to use the Pebble by using Rebble.
